Reframing Women’s Health Meet Up

In the past, women’s health was focused on the reproductive system, and care was delivered (along with babies) mostly in clinics and hospitals. Emerging tech and a more holistic view of women’s health are shaking things up. Now, women’s health includes conditions women experience differently from men, sex just for fun, supporting women as family caregivers, and the delivery of care within the fabric of women’s daily lives. Telehealth, wearables, wellness suites in hotels, and software that identifies possible signs of cancer as a woman shops for makeup are all part of the reframed version of women’s health.
