We’ve seen a meteoric rise in investments in the video games industry: by the fall of 2021, there were over 700 investment and M&A deals, with nearly $35 billion in total investments and over $35 billion in mergers and acquisitions — indeed, the first quarter of 2021 eclipsed all of 2020 in amount of games investments!
