Solving the Black Founder Puzzle

The United States’ black-white wealth gap is estimated to cost the economy between $1 trillion and $1.5 trillion per year by 2028. Healthy black-owned businesses could be THE critical component to narrowing this gap. The solution consists of many pieces and requires a shift in mindset for funding, public policy, and more. Google’s Black Founders Fund, Capital Factory, and eight black-founded Texas startups found a non-dilutive model that is working and shows us how to piece together the edges of this puzzle.
