Your Brain on Stress: Race, Privilege & Belonging
This event took place on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM UTC.
In a style reminiscent of VH1's Pop-up Video and The View, this panel showcases how our brain reacts to stress. Shared dialogue about sex, race and belonging takes center stage as our brain pops in to provide commentary about how it is being impacted in any given moment. Combining real-life experience with brain science, the panel explores how stress and discrimination literally change our brain, our interactions with the world, and how we pass this on to others through generational and shared trauma. The audience will gain a sneak peek into how our brain structures change, and what we can do about it. Join us for an insightful and authentic look at how better understanding our brains can help us navigate an increasingly polarized world as harmoniously as possible.
