Time TBA Location: Elysium Rakky grew up making music, inspired by the late 2000s pop, rock and electronic. Born in Granada, (ES), always interested in arts, she found her passion in music with bands like Panic! At The Disco, Paramore or My Chemical Romance, when Rakky Ripper was just an emo MySpace name. She started a rock band with some friends when she was 15, got into the rave world at 16, sneaking into dnb and dubstep parties in her city and by the age of 19, inspired by self produced and multi-instrumentalist artists like Grimes, Stromae, SOPHIE or Björk, she began learning how to produce and record herself, investing from her savings to create her own home-studio. She started publishing her first songs 5 years ago. In 2019 she released her debut album “ Neptune Diamond” independently, which established her as one of the pioneers of Spanish hyperpop. Supported by national and international artists from the scene such as Charli XCX, Diplo or Dorian Electra, she was named one of the VOGUE hot talents of 2021. Before the pandemic, she had structured a 12-date tour and though the cancellation was a hard moment, she’s now preparing her second studio album and played at Sonar Festival.
