Esports is arguably one of the most dynamic segments of the entertainment space today. So much so, that traditional sports organizations are increasingly involving themselves in esports and gaming culture. For example, the NBA launched its own esports league, NBA 2K League (2KL), and other NBA teams have started their own esports organizations beyond the 2KL environment.
