In recent years, there has been a paradigm shift, with more gaming companies acknowledging the gap between women, LGBTQ+ and others who do not fit the traditional gamer stereotype. With the advent of televised esports and game streaming, the world is beginning to witness the magnitude of gaming careers, and the power of the industry overall. This session brings together four different experiences from women working in gaming media, streaming, professional esports and the business of gaming.
