Location: Valhalla Charged up on a myriad of influences Heavy Salad create an eclectic mix of psychedelic pop infused with the band's love of surf rock, electro-pop, fuzzy funk and cosmic, gospel tinged folk. Formed in Manchester by Lee Mann on bass and vocals, Rob Glennie on guitar and Allan Hutchison on drums the band quickly expanded into a seven piece with the addition of Ally McBoo, Lucy Hope and Esther Maylor aka 'The Priestesses', adding their unique and soulful vocals to the mix. Oscar Remers-Tootle completes the line up on guitar, vocals and synths.
