There’s been a ton of noise about spatial audio, but few understand the potential for better, more natural and more immersive sound. We’ll bang the drums for spatial, beat by beat explaining what it means, how it can be experienced, how musicians are engaging with it — and with what tools, what technology enables these capabilities and, if we choose, how we can make money using it. We’ll sing spatial audio’s praises but also discuss realistic expectations in the near term, and what innovations we see in the future as processing power, 5G networks and the creator economy expand.
