Venue: Victorian Room at The Driskill Everett started off playing professionally at age four with his family band and would harmonize on fiddle to his mother’s and brother’s voices. Classically trained, he also took home an Arkansas State Fiddle Championship, and adding mandolin, guitar, and lap dulcimer, he toured throughout the states with the alt-country band Wagon out of St. Louis, before settling in Austin. During the pandemic-imposed break from live shows, he holed up in his south Austin studio and started adding tracks to unfinished songs and penning new lyrics. His songs focus on travails of his friends and family but also on the confusion and resolution that accompany love and the human journey. Everett felt honored that his good buddies from Chalkboard Poets, Sasha K.A, and Lost & Nameless agreed to record on several songs, and his new album will be out Sat. May 21st, 2022.
