Venue: Elysium Woo Won-Jae, known as Woo, is a Korean rapper under the hip-hop label AOMG. He gained popularity while participating in the popular show ‘Show Me the Money 6’ where he placed third. He signed with AOMG in 2017 and released his debut single ‘We Are (feat Loco & GRAY) that topped Korean music charts for weeks. Since then, he has released a single ‘Anxiety’,an EP ‘af’, and an album ‘Black Out’. In the midst of creating his music, Woo has collaborated with various well known hip-hop artists, featuring on singles and albums as well as appearing on popular tv show soundtracks. He has made several tv appearances - as a contestant on ‘Masked Singer’ (2019), a judge on ‘Sign Here’ and ‘Girls Planet 999’ (2019). His deep and dark lyrics are relatable to most as they come from his real life experiences. He has been nominated for many awards since 2017 and has won ‘Hip-hop Track of the Year’ at the Korean Hip-hop Awards, ‘New Artist of the Year (Song)’ at Gaon Chart Music Awards and ‘Best Rap and Hip Hop Song’ at Korean Music Awards in 2018 for his song ‘We Are (feat. Loco, GRAY)’.
