Venue: Saxon Pub Finn Matthews is a 21 year old singer, songwriter and producer from New Jersey. After moving the Los Angeles at age 16 to pursue music full time under the mentorship of artist and songwriter Elijah Blake, who has penned songs for mega musicians such as Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Usher, he landed a development deal with Live Nation. This allowed him the freedom to experiment creatively to figure out who he was as an artist. During this time, he taught himself how to write and produce his own music and built up an impressive catalogue of released and unreleased music. Taking lush soundscapes, and pairing that with a warm tone, he blends pop, R&B, rock and even a dash of gospel to create highly magnetizing music where listeners instantly feel welcomed into his world. Matthews’ offerings explore themes of love, sex, self-reflection, and mindfulness. He explains, “By nature, I’m always thinking of myself and my place in everything. I’m always trying to grow and be the best person I can be.”
