As Traci Ferguson, talent buyer for Historic Gruene Hall has said, "Guy Forsyth is simply one of the best performing musicians around." He is just as comfortable performing solo as he is leading a full 5-piece band. Depending on the requested genre or sound that will best suit your event, venue or festival, he will gather together some of Austin's finest sidemen . He also is a highly sought after Master Class clinician. He regularly tours both in the United States and Europe, and has opened for Ray Charles, Robert Cray, Dr. John, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan, and Lucinda Williams. His most recent single release was Armalite Rifle (2019). A new record release is anticipated in early 2023.
