The ingredients are (1) Focus: Michigan Central is the world’s first district focused on mobility. To us, mobility is not just bikes and scooters, it’s also about equity and inclusion. (2) Location: We’re embedded in community, which means we’re solving real-world challenges in a real-world environment.And we’re doing this in Detroit, the mobility capital of the world. (3) Resources: Makerspaces, drone corridors, state-of-the-art testing facilities… and the ability to launch pilots quickly in our Transportation Innovation Zone, (4) Open: We are an open platform that sits at the intersection of large brands (Google, Ford) and innovative start-ups.
