Venue: The Exchange, RAI If there was one acronym more common than NFTs in 2020 and 2021, it was SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies). In 2021, there were 613 SPAC initial public offerings (IPOs), a significant increase from 248 in 2020. However, the poster child of investing in 2021 is conspicuously missing from the party in 2022. Where have all the SPACs gone? This session will explore the rise and fall of the SPAC, the shifting sands of regulation, and where the former SPAC investors are putting their money now. Please note: this session takes place in the Exchange - a hidden stage that you can only find by searching for the Lost Lounge. Be prepared not just for one-of-a-kind content, but a great experience also.
