The Big Picture Stage, RAI Today, regulatory environments are very fragmented when it comes to pure digital assets. What can we learn from the crypto space to adapt for traditional banking? It’s not going to be EITHER/OR, it’s AND space. Some of the most impactful developments in building bridges from traditional banking into DeFi will be related to AML/KYC for handling cross-border transactions for crypto and digital assets. CeFi capabilities can help bring existing regulatory shortcomings of DeFi into the fold. Stablecoins and CBDC help build bridges from traditional space to the new space. The next challenge will be in connecting legal entities and Web 3.0. How do we allow Web3 entities enter into legal contracts with traditional companies? What would it look like to us to allow companies in DeFi to enter CeFi? Could a wallet be the path for a DAO to invest in real estate or any other real-world assets?
