Location: Trace Meet the Polkadot crowd at Consensus 2022 (Austin, TX), with an evening of food, drink, whiskey tasting and live music… and it’s all on us! About this event On 11th June 2022, Polkadot is taking over Trace at The W Austin. Following the main talks at Consensus, people will be looking for somewhere to unwind, chill out and network. And that’s where Polkadot comes in! In association with Parity, we’ll lay on a relaxed evening of food and drink, with live music and whiskey tasting too. But for those still eager to make new contacts, there’s also a chance to meet some of the leading parachain minds in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem. We’re inviting guests to arrive from 7pm. Music will be provided by a DJ and there’ll be a brief, informal “barstool” talk featuring the parachains powering the Polkadot ecosystem. Later on, there’s a live set from Texan-born singer/songwriter and rock guitarist Rett Smith, and the event continues until midnight.
