Who Controls a Smart Contract? Why Auditing the Code Is Not Enough

Smart contracts are often thought of as immutable. This is often not the case, and smart contracts are frequently updated to fix bugs, close security vulnerabilities, or introduce new features. In addition, many projects have permissioned admin keys which allow modifying certain aspects, such as adding a new lending market. In this talk, Neodyme will illuminate this problem from two angles: users and researchers. We'll talk about how to improve the current situation, help devs to know which information to put where, and highlight the newly proposed security.txt standard.
