The aim of this session is to further advance cooperation on the re-invention of a highly effective, sustainable and consumer centric Supply-Chain-Industry in Europe through bringing together key industry stakeholders from the area of Supply Technology, Manufacturing and Retail. The volatility of the past years has made every industry player painfully aware how vulnerable Supply Chains were to unexpected disruptions. Now is the time to constructively disrupt this system together. We have to re-think the entire Value Chain when re-inventing Supply; including sustainable sourcing, responsible production, and effective transportation and collaboration with our Retail partners, so our consumers will be served with their everyday-use products, no matter what the context is, and that they can always rely on the availability and sustainability of their products of choice. The Panel will put a special focus on 4 vectors of action that drive growth and value creation through the next transformation of our Physical Infrastructure, our Digital Infrastructure, and our Human Infrastructure: Resiliency to Supply in Full, Seamless Data Interconnection, Sustainability, And: Superior Workforce – IWS.
