Responding to Moments: Building Powerful Communities

Over the past few years, organizers and leaders have all worked to navigate the necessity of new approaches to outreach and engagement on a variety of critical issues facing society today. Creativity and resilience by organizers and leaders around our country have given way to new ways of advocating, organizing and fundraising by utilizing technologies and platforms to meet people where they are, creating the ability for anyone to participate and create change. This panel, moderated by ActBlue, will discuss what it takes to build, and sustain communities around causes and candidates. We’ll hear from some of our country’s leading advocates, learning about their stories and how they began their work. We’ll also hear how their preparation has allowed them to respond to key moments.
