Venue: Half Step. SABBY THE ARTIST, also known as Sabrina Boumait, is an R&B artist from Philadelphia, PA. Her passion for music was ignited when she was 5 years old. She would find herself wanting to sing, especially into things like old paper towel rolls or vacuum hoses, because they allowed her voice to take up space in a room. At that age, she had no idea as to how talented she actually was, she just knew it felt right. Growing up in Philadelphia, the people she was surrounded by were raw and uncut, yet, full of soul. This gave her a certain edge in her personality that adds to who she is as an artist. It has given her freedom in her music to tell it like it is. The experiences she speaks on in her music come from an honest place. Through her recent partnership with WRKSHP, she plans to soon release another EP and expand her fan base. Sabby works to impact her listeners in a real way and create music that will live on forever. Her energy will soon be felt by the masses.
