Open Innovation: Breaking The Default Together

Venue: Hilton Austin Downtown, Salon K. The internet is at a turning point – a new tech era where people rightfully demand agency online. Technology that centers human agency means investing in an ecosystem that recognizes people don’t need one tech company savior. Instead they need enough really good options to actually have a choice. Mozilla is working alongside other partners to lead this new era and usher in a human-centered internet built to respect people’s agency over their data, their time, and their preferences. This session will focus on how tech companies can unlock innovation and inspire this movement within and outside their organizations. We will look at how community-enhancing programs like MIECO (Mozilla Internet Ecosystem Program) and other mission-driven companies are fostering long-term benefits for everyone.
