Why We Need Empathy to Save Earth, Space, Humanity

Venue: JW Marriott, Salon D. Through this conversation, we invite the audience to join us as we go deep inside ourselves, out into the wild, and far into space and time. Though humans aren’t built for long-term thinking, our very existence as a species depends on it. Panelists will discuss how we stay present with the reality that our world and the immediate space surrounding it is in grave danger—and discuss how we find the courage and the leadership to enact solutions to save it. First, we need to address the illusion that ownership equals independence. Second, we need to combat fear and embrace wonder. And lastly, though we need to reprogram our minds and our approach to work, technology can play a useful role.
