FTX and other exchange bankruptcies have underscored the danger to users of trusting centralized entities with the keys to their crypto. But custodying your own keys has historically been fussy and nerve-wracking. This conversation looks at how policymakers can create effective guardrails for consumer protection without undermining crypto’s empowering attributes. Findings from this invitation-only roundtable discussion will be presented to the public during the Money Reimagined Summit and in CoinDesk’s inaugural Consensus @ Consensus report.
