Location: Austin Convention Center: Metaverse and Gaming Stage. Axie Infinity is the only Web3 game that has scaled to over 2.5M daily active users, an infrastructural feat in crypto scalability. Now the game’s creator, Sky Mavis, is opening its infrastructure to others by allowing select game studios to access Axie IP for their titles. The move lets outside teams build new games with distinct IP on top of Ronin, Sky Mavis’ purpose-built blockchain. A Sky Mavis co-founder explains the firm’s strategy.
