Location: Austin Convention Center: Mainstage. Crypto plays an important role for millions of Africans for three reasons: 1). We want to escape French colonial monetary control. 2). Many nations have high and variable inflation rates. 3). Our banking and financial systems are so heavily regulated they prevent most ordinary people from having access. For all three reasons, crypto is a liberating moral force in Africa.
