In May 2023, YakiHonne successfully hosted a Nostr-themed side event during the Miami Bitcoin Conference. The event attracted numerous influencers from the Nostr and Bitcoin communities and received widespread acclaim. Since 2024, YakiHonne has become a media partner of Bitcoin Magazine and one of the most popular apps in the Nostr ecosystem. As a fully decentralized social network, we launched a global meetup tour to connect Nostriches and Bitcoin enthusiasts worldwide. The journey began in Southeast Asia, visiting Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong. In June, we embarked on our US tour, traveling through New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Austin, establishing deep connections with local communities in each city. The tour culminated in a grand gathering in Nashville. YakiHonne's Old Friends Reunion aims to provide an on-site social network for native communities, influencers, investors, and project founders to connect and collaborate. Leveraging the power of decentralized social networks seeks to foster the long-term development of the Nostr and Bitcoin ecosystems.
