Why are Verification and AI important for Climate Analytics?

​The lack of data lineage results in the inability to trace ecological data and reproduce the analytics underlying carbon sequestration estimations and investment potential for nature-based projects. This causes a lack of transparency and trust in carbon and biodiversity credit issuance and ecological investments. We will explore how AI, blockchain, verifiable computation, and eco-service analysis can resolve the climate funding gap through a communal round table discussion with practitioners and researchers from the AI and climate fields.
